Jamar Esaw & Triad:4Christ is a 30 plus member, multi-city choir that is set to become a driving force in Gospel music, with a mission to Breathe life into those who have inhaled death from ministry. Under the leadership of Gospel artist Jamar Esaw the choir has been polished into a group of established artist. VaShawn Mitchell took a personal interest in helping to guide and develop the career of this multi-talented group and also contributed to the production of their freshman CD. With a debut release of “Prepare Me” Jamar Esaw & Triad:4Christ deliver a classic choir project that combines a polished traditional sound in a youthful manner that has never been done before.
Triad:4Christ has been blessed to share the stage with some of the nation’s greatest artist such as Lonnie Hunter, Lyle Lovett, Michael McDonald, James Grear & Co., VaShawn Mitchell, Tremaine Hawkins, Donald Lawrence, Tamela Mann, Craig Hayes, Isaac Carree, Dewayne Woods, JJ Hairston, CeCe Winans, The Sounds of Blackness, The Blind Boys of Alabama, John P. Kee, Alexis Spight, Lillian Lloyd, Yolanda Adams, Juanita Bynum and Fred Hammond just to name a few. They have also appeared in 4 stage plays one of which being “The Gospel of Colonus” which had over 50,000 in attendance, and in 2013 competed in Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound competition, and advanced to the regional rounds. Although the Choir has ministered on stages across the nation, amongst great Gospel artists, this choir’s focus is grounded in HUMILITY and SERVICE. We strongly believe that without the support of the community, local churches, and the hearts of the people, our labor would be selfish and in vain.
Triad released their freshman project “Prepare Me”, which in 2012 received 6 Rhythm of Gospel Awards. The First single “Pass Me Not” was released in August of 2010 and was a huge success in sales even without radio promotion or a national promotional campaign. It continues to impress even the toughest Gospel critics who know it can be risky to remake such a classic. Live performance and touring have proven to be the staple of Triad’s success up to this point.
In August of 2015 Jamar & Triad:4Christ recorded their sophomore project which is projected to be released the summer of 2017. Jamar Esaw & Triad:4Christ is one of Gospel music’s best-kept secrets and will continue to deliver excellence in music and ministry.
